Au royaume du bonhomme hiver - NOUS Pack

My students look always look forward to lessons where Etienne/DJ Delf join us in some capacity. They really enjoyed watching NOUS perform and thought it was cool that the band was wishing us greetings of the season from their living room. In addition to being a fun activity just before the holidays, as always, the pedagogical value, though "hidden" was very much there.
We love learning while being entertained. Through music, students learn things about the culture of the language of some of the people who speak the language being studied.
Cloze activities further help develop listening and comprehension skills (and even reading). They are exposed to new vocabulary and the constant repetition helps with memorisation of the new words as well as aids tremendously with improving pronunciation.
As is the case with many of Etienne/DJ Delf/Nous songs, the melodies are familiar and facilitate rapid learning.
Amazingly easy way to boost language acquisition!
